Free Economic Zones as a Special Object of Legal Regulation in China
Annotation
At the current stage of the development of economic and political relations in the People's Republic of China, the role of territories with special economic conditions has increased as drivers of innovation while simultaneously mitigating illegal sanctions from unfriendly states. Territories with special financial and legal status receive significant government support, which necessitates oversight of the targeted and effective use of budget funds and tax incentives. The legal framework governing the implementation of state financial control and the relationships arising within the mechanism for implementing state financial activities in territories with special economic regimes is crucial. The People's Republic of China has established an effective system of state financial control over the activities of free economic zones. A study of the experience of legal regulation and implementation of state financial control in special economic territories in the People's Republic of China has allowed us to identify key solutions relevant for implementation in the legal framework for financial control in the Russian Federation.
