Mandatory Mental Health Evaluation of Teaching Staff: Issues of Legal Regulation and Law Enforcement

Annotation

The article is devoted to the problems of legal regulation of compulsory psychiatric examination of teaching staff. There is a general tendency to delegate regulatory authority not only to the procedural or technical aspects of the survey, but also to the departmental level on issues affecting the rights of employees. The change in the procedure for mandatory psychiatric examination by employees is positively assessed. Now, the basis for referral for this examination is to identify signs of a mental disorder during a medical examination. The thesis on the extension of the rules on mandatory psychiatric examination to persons engaged in teaching activities on the basis of a civil contract and an individual entrepreneur is substantiated.
