Annotation

The article examines the system of victimological prevention of remote theft in the activities of internal affairs bodies. The functions of key units (district police officers, juvenile affairs departments, criminal investigation departments, information services) are analyzed and gaps in their legal regulation are identified. Based on the study of 102 criminal cases and departmental regulations, the author proposes measures to improve prevention: consolidation of victimological powers in the instructions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, optimization of interdepartmental interaction and modernization of preventive methods. Particular attention is paid to the need to use digital technologies in preventive work.
