The article analyzes the system of prevention of domestic violence in Russian legislation. The study covers the regulatory framework, the response mechanism of law enforcement and social authorities, the practice of applying preventive and victim protection measures, as well as problems and prospects for improving law enforcement. Special attention is paid to the interaction of government agencies, mechanisms for temporary protection of victims, the role of preventive programs and the need for an integrated approach. Based on the analysis of regulations and available practice, recommendations are formulated to increase the effectiveness of preventive measures and strengthen interdepartmental cooperation.
