The article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of criminal‑legal measures to combat remote fraud in the context of today’s digital transformation of society. The relevance of the study stems from the rapid evolution of methods used to commit theft via information and telecommunication technologies, which poses unprecedented threats to the financial stability of citizens and the national security of Russia. The paper examines the legal nature of remote fraud, provides a detailed analysis of current legal norms, and addresses the challenges of qualifying and proving such acts. The study argues for the necessity of integrating technical, educational, and legal measures to build an effective bulwark against cybercrime.
