Minimum Wage in Russia and China
Annotation
Today, for all sectors of the economy and for all categories of employees who have fulfilled the work standard or worked for a certain period of time, the minimum wage in Russia and the minimum wage standard in China are legally established. The method of establishing the minimum wage, its revision/adjustment and calculation methods in the Russian Federation and in the PRC differ significantly. The author believes that the national labor legislation of both countries needs to be improved for the effective regulation of issues related to the establishment of the minimum wage. In China, existing regional differences should be taken into account, and in Russia, the current criteria for determining the minimum wage require revision.
