Annotation
The proposed article examines the prospects for the development of labor law as a branch of law in modern conditions. Three areas of prospective development of the legal branch are identified. The first involves the development of labor law in the global sphere of law - in the general process of development of international law. The second is in the interstate (foreign) area of law. The third is in the intrastate (national) area. Development prospects are considered using the example of working time regulations. Based on the analysis of international, foreign and national experience, the consolidation of the general standard of working time in law is shown. The practice of applying a four-day working week in the interstate sphere is given. A hypothesis is put forward about the possible reduction of the international standard of working time.
