Quantum Challenge to Law: Development of a New Regulation Paradigm in the Age of Superposition and Confusion

Annotation

The rapid development of quantum technology marks the beginning of a new technological era that poses an unprecedented challenge to existing legal systems. This article explores the main challenges facing the law in the context of the quantum revolution. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the fundamental principles of quantum mechanics — superposition and quantum entanglement, as they underlie both technological breakthroughs and the legal conflicts they generate. The paper analyzes cryptographic threats, intellectual property issues, and civil liability. The research argues for the position that an adequate legal response would be the formation of a new interdisciplinary field, “quantum law”, based on advanced rulemaking and a deep understanding of the physical foundations of technology.
