Annotation

The article is devoted to the study of modern approaches to ensuring the electoral rights of citizens with disabilities in the Russian Federation. The article examines legal, technological, and organizational innovative developments that contribute to overcoming existing barriers. At the same time, technological innovations applied in international practice are analyzed, as well as the possibility of their application in terms of improving Russian electoral legislation. As a result of the conducted research, the author concludes that the introduction of innovative technologies and organizational solutions allows citizens with disabilities to exercise their active electoral right. However, the key challenge remains the application of a comprehensive approach to legislative reform to ensure the principle of inclusivity and create truly equal opportunities for political participation of citizens with disabilities in elections.
