In the proposed scientific article, the authors had the opportunity, based on their scientific research, to analyze the current state, possibilities, and necessity of assigning and conducting forensic psychological examinations in civil disputes related to property issues, in order to assess the ability of a legally competent person with will defects to fully understand and control their actions during the conclusion of such a transaction. In this regard, the authors identified the main difficulties in formulating questions for forensic psychological experts and evaluating the results of forensic psychological examinations, and provided explanations for these difficulties and suggestions for overcoming them.
