The article provides detailed monitoring of the specifics of the import of sports equipment and equipment to the Russian Federation. The analysis of the structure of import flows was carried out, the main supplier countries in demand by the domestic market were identified, as well as the assortment of imported products. The authors have identified and formed groups of problems of importing goods under the conditions of sanctions restrictions and proposed ways to solve these problems. The study is based on an assessment of open data from the official statistics of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, Rosstat data, and publications from specialized periodicals.
