Constitutional Commissions and Constitutional Councils of the Subjects of the Russian Federation: Closer Than They Seem
Annotation
The study of the constitutional councils of the subjects of the Russian Federation leads researchers to various objects of domestic and foreign origin: courts, chambers, committees, etc. This article reviews the relationship between the established constitutional councils and constitutional commissions (which were not involved in drafting the constitution). the same subjects of the Russian Federation. The relevance of this study is due to the lack of due attention from scientists and the ongoing formation of a new, current stage in the evolution of constitutional supervision at the subject level. A variety of relationships between commissions and councils has been revealed: the direct origin of the council from the commission (Adygea), parallel existence (in practice — in Yakutia, on paper — in Bashkortostan), lack of communication due to the absence of the commission (Tatarstan).
