Tokenization of Investment Funds: From a Bold Hypothesis to Business Reality
Annotation
The article is devoted to the tokenization of investment funds using Luxembourg as an example. The proposed material examines the legal, technological, and economic aspects of tokenization. The author analyzes the legislative innovations that made it possible to tokenize funds. The role of smart contracts in the tokenization process and the advantages of using cloud infrastructure platforms are identified. The author concludes that it is necessary to study foreign experience in order to further amend domestic legislation.
