Principles of Civil Law Regulation of Artificial Intelligence
Annotation
The development of artificial intelligence technologies is radically transforming socioeconomic processes and giving rise to new forms of civil law relations. Autonomous decision-making systems capable of influencing the rights and obligations of participants in civil transactions pose the challenge of developing adequate regulatory mechanisms. This article proposes the author's principles for the civil law regulation of artificial intelligence, aimed at ensuring a balance between innovative development, the protection of citizens' rights, and the liability of developers. Approaches to the legal regulation of artificial intelligence in foreign legal systems are examined, and the positions of contemporary researchers are analyzed, emphasizing the need to rethink traditional legal categories in the context of the functioning of autonomous algorithmic systems.
