Prosecution and Defense in Criminal Proceedings Before a Justice of the Peace
Annotation
The article is dedicated to legal relations arising between the prosecution and the defense in criminal proceedings. The author singles out some features of proceedings in privately prosecuted criminal cases. The paper supports the conclusion that, in this case, the defense holds priority rights over the prosecution. The publication suggests an algorithm of interaction in case of criminal case termination based on reconciliation of the parties.
