Legal Foundations of the Notarial System Organization in Spain
Annotation
This article analyses the general organizational structure of the notary profession in Spain. It examines the legal status of notaries, including their appointment procedures, powers, the territorial distribution of notary offices, and the hierarchical subordination of notaries. It also analyzes the importance of the notary profession as a guarantor of the protection of citizens' rights. Particular attention is paid to international cooperation in the field of notaries.
