Victimological Aspects of Crimes Committed Against Migrants
Annotation
The paper examines the victimological aspects of crimes committed against migrants. The victimological aspects of crimes committed against migrants in the Russian Federation are an important area of research, since it is their study that makes it possible to understand the vulnerability of migrants, the factors that increase the risk of their victims and ways to prevent crimes. Migrants often face low incomes, lack of social guarantees and legal protection, which makes them more vulnerable to fraud, exploitation and criminal attacks. Differences in language and cultural environment can contribute to misunderstandings and conflicts, which increases the risk of crimes by other groups or against migrants. Sometimes migrants themselves become targets of criminal attacks, which is due to their vulnerable position, lack of security and lack of trust in law enforcement agencies. The analysis of victimological aspects contributes to the development of effective measures for the prevention and protection of migrants, strengthening interethnic dialogue and increasing the level of information support. In general, understanding this range of factors is important for implementing comprehensive programs to reduce crime and create a safe environment for migrants in the Russian Federation.
