The article reveals the importance of judicial protection of the right to education as a fundamental human right, enshrined in international acts and Russian legislation. It is emphasized that the right to education is not only an independent right, but also an important tool for the implementation of other rights and freedoms. The article analyzes the methods of settling disputes in the field of education in the Russian Federation, taking into account the competence of courts of general jurisdiction and arbitration courts. Particular attention is paid to issues of judicial protection of the rights of consumers of educational services. Examples from judicial practice are given, demonstrating the features of protecting the rights of students in disputes with educational organizations.
