A Civil Law Assessment of Activities of Self-Employed
Annotation
The article is devoted to the civil law view of the activities of self-employed individuals. The lack of certainty in the civil law status of self-employed individuals in Russia and the legal regime of their activities creates uncertainty in their procedural status. The article provides a brief overview of the adopted regulatory legal acts, as well as legislative initiatives on the activities of self-employed individuals, and highlights the fact that during the existence of the experiment, these individuals were primarily focused on by public branches of law. It is proposed to make changes to civil legislation aimed at improving the contractual regulation of the activities of self-employed individuals. The general conclusion is that civil law science faces the task of creating the necessary organizational, institutional, and legal prerequisites that will contribute to the development of human economic activity.
