Annotation

This article considers the issues of legal regulation in the area of general education in the works of domestic scientists of the second half of the XX – beginning of the XXI century. The author notes that the development of thought of domestic scientists of the mentioned period regarding the considered issues reflected the peculiarity of the foundations of the structure of society and the state, the legal status of the individual, characteristic of the post-war Soviet period and, so to say, the period after 1991, and also focused mainly on its own theoretical and methodological basis, which, in turn, was based on the approaches of specialists in administrative law and legal theory. In conclusion, the author draws attention to the fact that the issues considered in the article are the genesis of the current legal regulation in the area of general education and increase the need and relevance of further research in this direction especially in the conditions of transformation of public administration and the adoption of the Federal Law on mandatory requirements.
