What Educational Standard is Needed for the Reform of Higher Legal Education? On Developing New Federal State Educational Standards for Higher Education
Annotation
Purpose. Analyze in a discussion the new draft version of the Federal State Educational Standard for Higher Education (FSES HE) for the specialty of jurisprudence, developed by the MSLA team. Methodology. In the process of writing the following methods were used: analysis, synthesis, system approach, formal-legal. Conclusions. The unmotivated refusal of the Project's developers to engage in constructive cooperation leads to a split in the university's legal community and does not contribute to finding an optimal model for organizing domestic legal education. The fundamental importance of this task requires a responsible state approach rather than a local one. Scientific and practical relevance. The study draws the attention of the legal expert community to the problem of reforming Russian higher education, to the search for an optimal model of a truly sovereign, nationally oriented system of legal education.
