The Influence of Pathopsychological Personality Traits of Juvenile Convicts on Their Destructive and Auto-Aggressive Actions
Annotation
The content of the publication examines existing approaches in theory and practice of working with manifestations of teenage destructive and autoaggressive behavior (all its forms). An attempt was made to reveal the role of pathopsychological (psychophysiological, psychological) characteristics of juvenile offenders, such as: character accentuations, neurotic and mental disorders in their destructive and autoaggressive manifestations. Many researchers note that, despite the abundance of terminology, the difference in theoretical directions and schools, the consideration of the issue comes down to highlighting the prevailing role of psychophysiological processes observed during the pubertal crisis. This, in turn, leads to the breakdown of all adaptive mechanisms of adolescents under the influence of unfavorable external conditions. The basis of the external characteristics of puberty, not disputed by all researchers, is its ambivalence, permeating literally all spheres of the teenager's life. The applied aspects of the content of the issue under consideration of the role of pathopsychological characteristics of juvenile convicts in their destructive and autoaggressive manifestations are considered in the publication materials through an analysis of the manifestation of specific types of character accentuation in juvenile convicts.
