The involvement of the prosecutor in civil proceedings serves as an important safeguard for the child's interests, especially in cases where their legal representatives are unable or unwilling to provide adequate protection. The conclusions of the guardianship and custody authorities, based on a comprehensive examination of the circumstances of the case and an individual approach to the child, have a decisive influence on court decisions. It is necessary to develop clear criteria for evaluating the activities of guardianship and custody bodies, as well as mechanisms for holding them accountable for improper performance of their duties.
