Annotation

The article reveals the powers of the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Special attention is paid to control and rule-making powers. It has been established that the Central Bank of Iran is a public authority that investigates certain types of offenses in the banking sector and has the right to independently impose penalties. The author comes to the conclusion that the Central Bank of Iran takes an obligatory part in the development of draft laws regulating the financial sector.
