Principles of Electoral Law in a Socialist State: Features and Modern Trends in the Development of Electoral Legislation on the Example of the People’s Republic of China
Annotation
As a rule, the formation of representative bodies in the countries of the socialist camp is criticized by European states in terms of the procedure for holding elections, as well as the basic principles laid down in the electoral culture of modern representatives of the camp, for example, China. We will try to reveal the basic principles based on legislative acts regulating the electoral process in the PRC and understand the features inherent in the PRC, the basis for the formation of which is the principle of democratic centralism.
